At Visiting Angels South East London, we are looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Morning Caregivers, known as Angels, to support clients in Camberwell with early morning care visits from around 6am.

Morning visits are incredibly important. You may be helping someone get up safely, feel refreshed, enjoy breakfast and start their day with dignity, confidence and comfort.

What you’ll be doing

As a Morning Angel, you will visit clients in their own homes and support them with their morning routine.

Your role may include:

• Helping clients get out of bed safely
• Supporting with washing, dressing and personal care
• Preparing breakfast and drinks
• Medication support, where trained
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Light household tasks
• Companionship and reassurance
• Encouraging independence, choice and dignity
• Following care plans and reporting any concerns

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

• Kind, patient and caring
• Reliable and punctual, especially for early starts
• Friendly, respectful and professional
• Comfortable supporting with personal care
• Able to communicate clearly
• Ready to learn and follow guidance
• Passionate about helping others
• Available for early morning work from around 6am

Previous care experience is welcome, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be available for early morning shifts from around 6am
• Be able to travel to clients in Camberwell
• Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
• Be able to provide professional references
• Have a caring, reliable and professional nature
