Care Built Around You

  • Create your own care plan: you choose the support you want, when you want it, across Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas.
  • Set your routines:  we follow your preferred daily habits.
  • Thorough in-home assessment: we visit you at home — in Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Beaconsfield or any of the surrounding areas — to understand your needs and priorities.
  • Easily adjustable care:as your needs change, your care changes with them.

Choose Your Carer

  • Choose your caregiver: we introduce you to your carer first, so you know exactly who’s coming into your home.
  • Keep the same familiar face: you’ll see the same familiar face for your regular visits, not a different carer each time.
  • Personality-based matching: we consider personality and interests alongside skills, so care feels like a good fit, not just a scheduled task.
  • Simple rematching: if the pairing isn’t right, tell our Berkshire team and we’ll arrange someone else — no explanation needed.

Real-Time Updates

  • Live updates: visit start and end times, tasks completed and carer notes are logged the moment each visit finishes.
  • Full digital care plan: care plans, medication schedules and risk assessments are accessible online whenever you need to check them.
  • Wellbeing snapshots: mood, hydration and mobility notes build up after each visit, so changes are easier to spot early.
  • Direct communication: message the care team anytime — our local Ascot team is always close by.

We have been using the services of Visiting Angels to provide 24 hour live in care for our Mum, following a couple of falls and hip operations.
All the carers they have provided have been very kind and gentle with Mum. Sally has been looking after Mum on a regular basis and she not only provides great care but also great company for Mum, when Dad has his head buried in a book or watching sport on TV.
Debbie has also kept in regular contact with Mum and the family making sure that we are happy with the care being provided.

1am on Tuesday and in comes Emily. She’s like a breath of fresh air. We talk and decide what we will do together today. It could be a short walk, tidy the cupboards, weed the patio or paint by numbers. The possibilities are endless. We chat all the time. She’s very easy to be with. She loves to be in the garden. She tells me about her dogs and about Flyball. So you see she’s educating me. We chat about Debbie and her chicks. Our time together is lovely. When it’s time for her to go she always says Tuesdays are her favourite day.. they are mine too. So with a big hug and love she’s off to make someone else happy that’s Emily. And there’s so much more for another day - Bonnie Dolman

My mother has received excellent care from her two carers from Visiting Angels. They are kind, patient and help her with all the tasks she struggles with. She looks forward to their twice daily visits and it gives us peace of mind to know that she is being looked after when we're at work. I can highly recommend Visiting Angels.

My mother in law is living with dementia and was resistant to the idea of carers at first. She has bonded with the carers and built a beautiful relationship. The girls always greet her with warmth and it is so lovely to see the way they support and interact with her.
Thank you Visiting Angels, keep up the good work!

Visiting Angels have allowed my dad to stay at home, where he loves. Their support is a real source of reassurance for us, his family, who are some distance away, as we know someone is keeping an eye on him and will step in if anything is needed.

Our carers know the area well, including local landmarks like the Chiltern Hills and the River Misbourne, and support families close to Wycombe Hospital, Chalfont & Gerrards Cross Hospital, and Wexham Park Hospital.

  • Enhanced DBS checked carers – every carer is fully vetted before they ever visit you.
  • Fully trained & insured – ongoing training in care, safeguarding and first aid.
  • Locally knowledgeable – carers familiar with Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Loudwater, Iver, High Wycombe and Wooburn Green, and the community they serve.

What Home care actually means

Home care means a trained carer visiting your home to provide support with daily living — from a few hours of help in the morning to full-time live-in care — so that an older person can continue living safely and independently in their own home, rather than moving into residential care.

Signs it might be time to consider home care:

Local Carers Who Know Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire’s a lovely place to grow older — leafy, close-knit, and full of homes people have lived in for years. But it’s also spread out, and that matters when you’re arranging care for someone you love. Our carers support families right across the county, from Gerrards Cross to High Wycombe, and out to Marlow, Beaconsfield, Loudwater and Iver — getting to know not just the area, but the person they’re caring for. Because good care isn’t just about turning up; it’s about being someone familiar, someone trusted, who makes home feel like home, whatever support is needed.

Because they live locally, they know the roads and the area — so you get reliable timekeeping and the same familiar face at the door, not someone driving in from miles away.

A Local Team, Right Across Buckinghamshire

We’re proud to support families across Buckinghamshire with compassionate, professional home care that makes a real difference. Our team of carers knows the area well — so when you need help, support is never far away.

Our head office is in Slough — but our carers come to you in Buckinghamshire.

FAQS

Frequently asked questions about home care in Buckinghamshire

Which areas of Buckinghamshire do you cover?

We provide home care in Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Chalfont St Peter, Loudwater, Iver, High Wycombe, Handy Cross and Wooburn Green. Our carers know these areas well, which means reliable timekeeping and a familiar face at the door, visit after visit.

We offer personal care, companionship, dementia care, respite care and live-in care, as well as support for more complex needs including cancer care, palliative care, brain injury care, stroke care and Parkinson’s care. Every care plan is built around the individual, not a fixed package.

Always. Every carer is enhanced-DBS checked before they ever visit you, and fully trained in care, safeguarding and first aid. We also match each carer to the person they’ll be supporting — by needs, routine and personality — and our Registered Care Manager, Debbie Nash, oversees every care plan to make sure standards stay high.

Yes. Alongside ongoing care, we provide short-term respite so family carers can take a proper break, post-hospital support to help with a safe recovery at home, and cover for holidays or one-off situations. Care can be as flexible as you need — increasing, reducing or pausing as circumstances change.

Yes — we’re registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. You can verify our registration any time at cqc.org.uk, and our 5.0 Google rating from local families gives a real-world picture of the care we provide.

In most cases we can begin within a few days of your first call. We start with a free home assessment to understand exactly what’s needed, then match the right carer and build a personalised plan. If your situation is urgent, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to start sooner.

Yes. You meet and approve the carer who’ll be supporting you before any care begins, and you’ll have the same familiar face at each visit — someone who gets to know your routine and preferences. If the fit isn’t quite right, you can request a different carer from our local team anytime, with no awkwardness.

Wherever possible, yes. Consistency makes a real difference, especially for someone living with dementia, so we match you with a regular local carer who builds a genuine relationship over time. If they’re ever away, we’ll introduce a familiar back-up carer rather than send a stranger.
