Main functions of the Job
- To recruit and select employees, in numbers in line with the business plan for franchise the location
- To ensure that referrals for new clients are completed comprehensively and in good time, in order that client census increases
- To market and sell the Visiting Angels brand and service as needed, to ensure on-going increases in client numbers
- To ensure compliance with Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures
- To create and maintain a culture of performance and excellence
- To create a work atmosphere at their location which promotes a high quality of work life
- To raise brand awareness through marketing and networking activities
- To develop new relationships with health care professionals, local business contacts and the wider community
- To generate referrals and sales from relationships developed
- To support with maintaining existing relationships
- To support central business development and marketing activities
- To lead the end-to-end sales interaction with our new and prospective customers, managing a pipeline and ensuring the business needs are captured and translated into workforce solutions
- To identify and develop strategic plans to target potential referral partners and influencers based on our USP and mission vision values
- To devise proposals that meet the organisational needs of potential partners
- To keep up to date with market/sector developments, working collaboratively with Care Operations and Quality department to develop client solutions to market and meet future demands
- To develop customer relationships through a consultative approach, building trust and confidence through demonstrated sector and competitor knowledge
- To promote the brand, create content and manage the social media accounts registered to the business
- To identify and negotiate advertising and PR opportunities for the business
- To strategically analyse and manage the business’s marketing plan on an ongoing basis, to identify new opportunities and maximise opportunities
- To create a presence within the local community as a trusted Care provider and an employer of choice
- To ensure Client, Caregiver and referral sources are encouraged to review the service across digital platforms
- To plan and project manage events both within the local community and within the business to promote client, acquisition, and recruitment
- To meet Key Performance Indicators set for client acquisition and Caregiver recruitment and Retention
- To support the wider team to ensure care delivery hours are in line with business plan projections for the location
General Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with Visiting Angels Policies and Procedures
- Implement and maintain the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the Visiting Angels Location
- Uphold organisation and administrative duties
- Create and uphold an open, positive, Carer-centric and inclusive organisational culture
- Share in the development of strategic plans
- Participate in evaluation of Visiting Angels against agreed organisational goals, business and quality objectives, this will place at least monthly during management meetings
- Have a working understanding of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standards. To assist in the Registered Manager in the improvement and maintenance of these standards
Other Responsibilities
- In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required to meet the need of the business
- To meet with the Managing Director on a monthly basis as a minimum. To bring the Managing Director up to date during these meetings as to Business Development and Recruitment
