Meet the Team

Managing Director
Vincent Tan

Hello, I am Vincent, the Managing Director. I come from an IT background in fintech and financial sector spanning 20 wonderful years. Having encountered the two extremes of care at home, has made me wanting to provide high quality of care at home in the community.

I understand about delivering Outstanding care to our Clients as I truly believe that everyone deserves the right to quality care and it’s the same care I would want my ageing parents to receive. In order to hire the best Angels, we spend huge amounts of time and resources recruiting people who need to pass the “Mum Test”, asking ourselves if they are good enough to care for our loved ones.

I also understand the importance to feel valued as an Angel. At Visiting Angels we are a carer-centric organisation and we not only recognise the hard work and dedication of our Angels in the local community. We also put our Angels at the heart of what we do.

I’m looking forward to getting to know the community, making a difference in the lives of our Angels and Clients.

Angelika Ziemianska

Hello there! I’m Angelika, the Registered Care Manager at Visiting Angels South East London. With a solid background of over 10 years in the care sector, I’ve grown and learned, starting from a hands-on caregiving role to reaching managerial positions. Joining Visiting Angels was an easy decision for me, given our shared commitment to high standards, ethical principles, and immense respect for our care staff.

My journey into management was driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. Having witnessed diverse levels of care throughout my career, I am passionately dedicated to leading a company that goes above and beyond the usual standards. It’s not just about caring for our clients and their families; I believe it’s equally crucial to value and support our care staff, recognizing the challenges they face in this demanding profession.

Simultaneously, I am devoted to continuous improvement, ensuring our services align with the latest advancements in healthcare. Understanding the importance of delivering exceptional care to our clients, I firmly believe that everyone deserves access to quality care—a standard I would expect for my own aging parents or grandparents.

Additionally, I genuinely believe that our care staff is the heartbeat of Visiting Angels. Ensuring their well-being and expressing appreciation is paramount, given the demanding nature of their work.

Bella Area Development Manager

Area Manager
Bella Hallam

Bella’s journey in the healthcare industry began when she left college at the age of 18. With her nursing background, she quickly found her niche in community care, providing support and assistance to those in need. Her passion for helping others led her to explore other areas of healthcare, and she later went on to work in surgical wards and the theatre department at the Queen’s Medical Centre.

Throughout her career, Bella has worked in all of our covered areas, serving as a Carer, Field Care Supervisor, and Care Coordinator for other care companies. Her diverse experience and expertise have made her a valuable asset to the healthcare community, and she has become a trusted and respected member of the team wherever she goes.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Bella is also known for her warm and caring personality, and she is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others. Whether she is working one-on-one with patients or overseeing a team of caregivers, she always approaches her work with compassion, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility.

Registered Care Manager
Chekira Anderson

My care journey started when my mother was diagnosed with MS, this meant I was in and out hospital appointments with her while she was going through all her treatments. I saw her journey and her relationship with all the healthcare professionals that were involved in her care. I started to gravitate towards the healthcare sector and began my journey as a carer. Along the way I have had the pleasure of experiencing different roles in the industry and even went on to study Adult nursing, where I then worked onwards and in the community. I have been able to see the difference when someone actually cares and has a passion for improving the quality of life, however sometimes this can be disrupted by the issues that occur in the healthcare industry. Caregivers being overworked and not valued has made it difficult for true effective care to be delivered.

My personal experience of seeing both the good and bad has inspired me to make the decision to be part of helping fix the problem. At Visiting Angels I am able to be apart of a movement where I believe we can change the perception of care and the role of a caregiver. And where caregivers have the resources to do their job and be able to enjoy it at the same time. Bringing back the joy of care for the caregivers that once had a passion but have lost the hope. I also want our service users to see that having support does not mean you lose your independence. But instead having support from an Angel means you will be able make choices, be free with someone who will be with you every step of the way that you want them to be. Because we understand each individual is one of a kind and should be respected as such.

“Thank for literally being “visiting angels” to dad. Without you his life would not have that magic touch you brought to him. You will be treasured for your work.”

John

“I want to thank you for sending me such a wonderful Angel to help me during my recuperation. I always felt safe and comfortable when she was here.”
