I needed a few urgent home visits for my mum recently. Visiting Angels East Manchester were amazing. They took my call without any fuss (answered the phone immediately too!) listened very carefully to what I was requesting and acted within an hour to assist me. The carers who visited my mum were professional and extremely caring and lovely. My mum felt nutured, and genuinely looked after, not just a number on a call sheet. They could not have been more helpful and I would highly recommend this company for anyone with an elderly relative in need or care, or indeed anyone in need a of little extra help at home. Ten out of ten. Thank you!

We started using Visiting Angels on 4/8/25.
After a short stay in a care home we decided as a family that we wanted to bring my 92 year old Dad home.

I started looking for a good care company that would be able to meet his complexed needs. I had already shortlisted VA and then a friend recommended them.

My first point of contact was speaking to Badar the manager. I realised from the start he was so very experienced & knowledgeable in the field of caring for people in their own home. Also that he realised the importance of this.

Badar was very empathetic & compassionate when I told him about my Dad's very negative experience in the care home. So we arranged for him to come & meet myself & my Dad promptly.

He assured me that all his staff were well trained (mainly by himself) & were equally empathetic, genuine, caring people. He would not employ them otherwise. Hence
I gave them the go-ahead to set up a care plan for my Dad.

Right from day 1 the carers were so very friendly & tried their utmost to make my Dad feel at ease. The package entailed three visits a day for one hour, with two carers needed every visit. This was due to my Dad's complexed needs. Physically & mentally.

The girls have been AMAZING with my Dad over the last four months. They have had to adapt as his Dementia worsened & his needs became more complexed. They just took it all in their stride. More than that they truly went that extra mile. Under the guidance of Jodi who is also hands on when needed on difficult days.

Jodi is so easy to liase with. She is so professional, trustworthy & efficient. If there are any issues or concerns I can hand it over to her. She is on it right away & she will resolve it promptly.

Bev, Kara, Paris & Jodi are all worth their weight in gold. The difference with this company is that they really do care, they treat my Dad like the individual human being he is.

They make allowances for his really bad days when he can be so difficult aggressive, nasty & horrible. They just come back the next visit with a smile on their face & ready, willing & able to deal with whatever greets them.

I have no regrets whatsoever in choosing this company as I know in my heart that they really are

The whole team have been fantastic from the first meeting to discuss our dad n his future care after suffering a major stroke paralysing his left side. Dad was made to feel like a person in need of good care rather than just a client for business, all staff have provided above n beyond care including physio and assistance to ourselves as a family and a home in need of being looked after too. We have been given more than we expected and all the carers feel more like friends than just carers helping dad with usual caring duties. Couldn't recommend the company highly enough, thankyou to all who work for visiting angels you really are angels and have made our somewhat traumatic time seem so comforting, less stressful and dare I say a happy time for dad as well as ourselves as a family so on behalf of dad and all the family and friends, a very big thankyou and look forward everyday to working with you all for the foreseeable xxx

We are extremely happy with the care my uncle is receiving from his 'angel'. They have a professional approach whilst also making him feel comfortable and at ease in his own home. His 'angel' always arrives with a smile and is always ready to assist with all that he needs and is happy to sit and chat with him.

Since employing Visiting Angels, my uncle has managed to remain well and the improvement in his general health and wellbeing noticeable and I feel this is down to the amazing care provided by this company.

They keep me informed of any issues that may arise and I also have access to his notes that they write up daily.

My uncle didn't want to leave his home so this was the next best thing and I highly recommend using this company to look after you loved ones in their home environment.

We have been using Visiting Angels to care for our mum, who unfortunately has dementia. We met with them first about what mums needs were and included mum in the meeting. Mum and ourselves were happy with how the meeting went and mums Angels started in January. They attend twice a day, morning and evening and help with breakfast, any washing, prepare her lunch and make her an evening meal. She feels very comfortable with the Angels and accepted them straightaway. They're very friendly and make her feel at ease. Would definitely recommend.

I had already contacted 4 care providers before ringing Visiting Angels. I knew straight away that this was the first care provider that I wanted to meet. It was clear from speaking to Badar that they seemed a professional organisation who I could trust to look after my mum.
When I met Badar and Roxie I continued to be pleased. They were genuinely lovely and were wonderful with my mum. The questions they asked were thorough and they made sure that they really understood my mum so that they could match her with the right carer (Angel).
To anybody looking for a care provider for their parent or relative I would honestly encourage you to make contact with Visiting Angels.
My mum’s carer is lovely. She has been kind, patient, flexible and nothing is too much. The company keep me informed of how my mum is and let me know if they have any concerns regarding her health that I need to follow up with. They are really proactive and go above and beyond all the time!
I know that looking for a care provider can be very stressful but I hope that this review can give people confidence to get in touch with Visiting Angels, they are fabulous.
