We at Visiting Angels train our staff in-house and in person. This is to ensure that the staff do the training and can meet our quality standards. Online training just does not meet our standards. Does your home carer company train their staff in-house and in-person?
We had three days of training last week. The office staff had to do a refresher on how to train our carers. Staff get trained in training first aid, moving, assisting and hoisting people safely and medication administration. Did you know that our regulator does not allow medication administration from dosset boxes?
