Visiting Angels South West Kent and East Sussex on the Eridge Estate celebrated its office opening on Thursday, September 21st. The mayor of Tunbridge Wells, Councillor Hugh Patterson, cut the ribbon to the office and the first slice of a beautifully decorated cake.
Visiting Angels offers home care of a different type. Specialising in offering holistic consultations around each person’s individual needs, they offer support so that people can achieve the outcomes they wish. This may be as simple as making a home cooked meal or playing a game of cards, doing some light housework, or attending an appointment. Visiting Angels tries to match clients and caregivers who have similar interests so that they can develop a good, professional relationship.
The owner of Visiting Angels, Maxine Maters, and the registered Manager, Gillian Douglass, were happy to see representatives from a variety of local businesses and charities, including Imago, Aurora Funeral Services, Copier King, Health Insurance Specialists and the Eridge Estate to name a few. The event was also attended by some of the angels, Debra Gardner and Sylvia Mimicopoulou made sure that everybody received their portion of the cake!
Good luck to all of you with your new venture!
