As a former NHS nurse and having spent 15 years with the Alzheimer’s Society, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes. I’m passionate about delivering person-centred care that gives every client choice, dignity, and the opportunity to live life their way.

After a career in the football betting industry, I’ve spent the last five years fully immersed in all things Visiting Angels, particularly recruiting and supporting our wonderful caregivers. I’m passionate about our carer-centric approach because I truly believe that when caregivers feel valued and supported, our clients receive the very best care.

I have worked in care roles since the age of 16, gaining experience across a variety of settings and responsibilities. Supporting people through the later stages of life has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career, and I find great satisfaction in providing compassionate, person-centred care.

It is incredibly rewarding to help our clients remain in the comfort of their own homes, maintaining as much independence as their health allows. Being part of Visiting Angels truly feels like being part of a family, where everyone works together with a shared commitment to providing the best possible support and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

With a background in hospitality and property operations, I reached a point where I wanted a career with greater purpose, where I could make a real difference in people’s lives. Moving into care was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It quickly became so much more than a job. I discovered a genuine passion for supporting others and found the work to be incredibly rewarding, despite the misconceptions that can sometimes surround the sector.
What I love most is helping older adults continue to live independently while building meaningful relationships with them and their families. Being able to offer reassurance, guidance, and compassionate support during what can often be an emotional journey is a privilege.

My passion is ensuring the highest quality of care provision. My role is so rewarding, satisfying and I am having the time of my life. Helping people is who I am, not what I do.

I have been a caregiver with Visiting Angels North Surrey for four and a half years, and during that time I have had the pleasure of supporting and caring for many wonderful clients. Each person I have cared for has had a heartfelt impact on me, and I am truly grateful for the experiences and relationships I have built along the way. Alongside my caregiving role, I also run a weekly Visiting Angels Memory Club and help support a local lunch club, both of which I find incredibly rewarding.

I’m Priya, an Economics graduate working as a Care Coordinator at Visiting Angels. I manage scheduling and support the day-to-day coordination of care services, helping to ensure clients receive reliable, high-quality care. Working closely with both clients and staff, I help maintain efficient operations and deliver a positive experience for everyone involved.

Recruitment and Office Administrator
I’m Tooba and I am the Recruitment and Office Administrator at Visiting Angels North Surrey. After graduating in International Relations, I joined the team and have now been here for nearly two years. I help to grow our wonderful team of caregivers, ensure our recruitment processes remain compliant, and support the day-to-day running of the office. I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and having conversations, and this role allows me to do that every day.
