How our stoma care support can help

Good day-to-day stoma care helps protect your skin, keeps you comfortable and lets you get on with life with more confidence. Our caregivers work calmly and discreetly, and always respect your privacy and the way you prefer things done.

Support might include

Working with your stoma nurse and healthcare team

Your stoma nurse or healthcare team remains in charge of your clinical care. Our role is to support the everyday routine they have set out, following your care plan and their guidance. Our caregivers only provide the support they have been trained and assessed for, and that has been agreed in your care plan. We do not carry out procedures outside that. If we notice changes, such as sore skin, leaks or anything else that concerns us, we record it and pass it on in line with your care plan, so the right person can take a look.
