Field Care Supervisor (Full-Time)
- Location: Edinburgh/Midlothian / East Lothian (Community-based with office time at Hardengreen Business Park, Dalkeith)
- Hours: Full-time, including alternative weekend work and participation in the on-call rota (typically 1 weekend in 6)
- Salary: £26,663 – £30,576 per year (depending on experience)

We are seeking a proactive and supportive Field Care Supervisor to champion high care standards across Edinburgh and the Lothians. You will split your time between mentoring caregivers in the field, auditing care files, and ensuring our clients receive world-class, person-led care.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Mentorship: Supervise, shadow, and mentor care staff to support their professional growth.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct home client visits to monitor care standards, complete observations, and handle monthly audits of eMAR and visit notes.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and update individualised care plans alongside clients and families.
- Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with safeguarding policies and Care Inspectorate regulations.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in the shared on-call phone rota (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 9:00 AM, approximately 1 weekend in 6).

Essential Criteria
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Field Care Supervisor or Senior Carer in the UK.
Transport: Full UK manual driving licence and access to your own reliable car (essential for field visits).
Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
Vetting: Must be a member of, or willing to join, the PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) scheme.
