Visiting Angels Central Surrey, the premier provider of homecare in the local area, attended Chertsey Agricultural Show on Saturday 13th and 14th August. The day started with horse and camel racing, then it was onto show jumping. The audience were able to meet some of the county’s top riders as they competed around a course that included eight practice fences, two rounds of cross country jumping and camel racing.
Following this exciting start, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained throughout the rest of the day! There were demonstrations from local farmers showing off their animals including sheep, cows, horses, and pigs.
Alison, Veronica, and John were there to talk to people in the community about the home care services we provide in the local area helping our clients live comfortably and independently in your own home. They answered questions about: what’s it like to work as a care giver? what are the skills and values of people working in the sector? Benefits of being a Visiting Angel carer?
The day was a great success, thanks to the huge turnout of people and the quality of entertainment and we will be there along with our cheerful team next year!
