Meet the Team

José Rodríguez
Managing Director

José Rodríguez, Managing Director of Visiting Angels, Barnet and Enfield (photo)My personal experience of carers and care giving, both good and bad, has made me realise how varied the level of care can be and how confusing and worrying it is for families just trying to do the best for their loved ones. I am committed to supporting those that need to make difficult decisions and help them understand their entitlements and options, so that they don’t repeat my experiences.

I am also committed to providing the best level of care, in home, with great carers who are looked after and because of that provide continuity.

And that’s why, after a successful career in both big and small businesses, including my own, I decided to change direction and do something with Visiting Angels that is more than just a job and gives something back.

My hands-on role is to run and grow the business and make sure that Rosie and her team have what they need and. I’ll also be working closely with them to see where I can add to the quality of complete care we provide.

Rose
Registered Care Manager

Rose, Registered Care Manager at Visiting Angels, Barnet and Enfield (photo)I am the Registered Care Manager for Visiting Angels Barnet and Enfield. With over 13 years of experience in the care sector, I have a wealth of knowledge gained from providing hands-on care to vulnerable individuals. It is truly refreshing and fulfilling to work for a company like Visiting Angels that shares my commitment to high standards, ethical principles, and utmost respect for our care staff. That’s why I decided to join José at Visiting Angels.

My role involves the day-to-day management of the branch, which includes assessing our clients’ needs and creating person-centred care plans that promote independence while minimizing any potential risks. My journey to management was driven by a desire to facilitate significant positive changes in people’s lives. Having experienced various standards of care throughout my career, I am determined to lead a company that consistently exceeds the expectations of an average care service. I firmly believe that going above and beyond is not only beneficial for our clients and their families but also crucial for the well-being and motivation of our care staff.

In addition to management responsibilities, I oversee quality control and recruitment. I take great pride in our meticulous selection process when bringing new members into our team. We provide comprehensive onboarding with face-to-face training, personally conducted by me. I am proud to say that my team is diligent in monitoring our clients’ well-being and is well-trained to identify safeguarding concerns and suggest improvements to enhance our clients’ quality of life.

I am a firm believer in setting goals for all our clients, aiming to achieve better outcomes and giving our carers and clients specific targets to focus on, all while adhering to CQC guidelines. I want our clients to understand that I am always prepared to go the extra mile, and we work as a united team in collaboration with them and their families to achieve the best possible results. I maintain a highly hands-on approach to ensure the highest level of care.

“I want to thank you for sending me such a wonderful Angel to help me during my recuperation. I always felt safe and comfortable when she was here.”

“Thank for literally being “visiting angels” to dad. Without you his life would not have that magic touch you brought to him. You will be treasured for your work.”
