Welcome to Visiting Angels West Yorkshire East

Home Care in West Yorkshire and surrounding Areas

Welcome to Visiting Angels. As local residents of West Yorkshire, we are delighted to offer a premium home care service to the people in our local area.

We provide a range of care, from companionship, to social care. Our aim is to support people to continue to stay in the comfort of their own home.

We focus on including caregivers from your local area, so they easily become part of your community. This helps our caregivers understand your specific neighbourhood, and it also allows us to offer our services well, even in faraway places.

An essential part of our service is to give you a choice of caregiver matched to your own specific care needs, hobbies, pastimes and interests. We introduce you to our matched Caregiver before home care starts, so that you can get to know them and decide if they are the right fit for you. It is important that long-term relationships are built so that you trust the Angels that you invite into your homes and enjoy being in their company.

Meet the Team

James Cobbett- Managing Director

James, Manager Director, is the driving force behind Visiting Angels West Yorkshire East, where he leads with a deep commitment to both exceptional care and the well-being of those who provide it. With a background in social work, James has seen firsthand the critical need for quality at-home care and the impact that inconsistent or low-quality services can have on both clients and carers. James is passionate about changing the culture of care through an innovative, carer-centric approach. By valuing, respecting, and celebrating carers, he believes this leads to better outcomes for both carers and clients—creating a more consistent and compassionate care experience. He is dedicated to fostering an environment where carers feel empowered to care more, clients can live better, and families can feel assured that their loved ones are in safe, capable hands. At the heart of James’ leadership are the core values of family, relationships, freedom, and flexibility. These values guide his approach to care, ensuring that his team is responsive and adaptable to the evolving needs of clients and their families.
Outside of his role at Visiting Angels, James can be found taking his young daughter to see the animals at the zoo, or enjoying countryside walks with his family.

Outside of her role at Visiting Angels, Lucy stays busy balancing family life, whether it’s transporting her two boys to their various activities, walking her four dogs, or immersing herself in her creative pursuits.
