Christmas is a wonderful time of the year with many festivities happening in and around Hinckley and Bosworth from Christmas lights being switched on to Christmas markets!

Bosworth Hall Hotel and Spa:
Take a festive day trip to Bosworth Hall, a historic hotel in Market Bosworth. Get into the Christmas spirit with a festive afternoon tea, served in the beautiful manor house. Enjoy a selection of festive fancies, mince pies, finger sandwiches, mini cakes and scones.
Twycross Zoo:
From Saturday 17 December to Tuesday 3 January, visitors to the Zoo will be transported to the snowy peaks of the Himalayan mountains, the wild habitat of the snow leopard. Snow-flocked trees and festoon lighting will immerse guests in an unforgettable winter experience, where they will have the chance to visit the Zoo’s award-winning snow leopard habitat for a chance to see these incredible creatures up close. Accessible for all the family young and Old to enjoy.
Christmas Fayres:
Westfield Community Centre Craft Fayre 9th December 11am -15:00. For over four decades Westfield Community Centre has been involved in providing a variety of services to the elderly. It has cared for thousands of elderly people during this time including a number of centenarians. Hinckley Town Centre Festivities:
The annual Hinckley’s Christmas lights tour for elderly and disabled people will be held on Wednesday 6 December. Castle Street will be open to traffic from 6pm to 8pm to allow the public to drive down with their elderly or disabled family and friends, allowing them to view the lights. Christmas Tree Festivals:
Lots of Churches will be holding events over the festive period – Plan a day trip to your local Church . St Marys with St Francis will be holding their 2023 Christmas Tree Festival from Thursday 30/11/23 at 6.30pm until Monday 4/12/23 at 1pm, with events and entertainment throughout the weekend.
