We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news from across the Visiting Angels network.
Visiting Angels UK has officially been named one of the 2026 Global Top 100 Inspiring Places to Work.
Being recognised on a global list like this is a fantastic achievement. It places Visiting Angels UK alongside internationally recognised organisations from around the world, including Novo Nordisk, SurveyMonkey and many other leading employers.
But for us, the award means much more than simply appearing on a prestigious list.

At the heart of Visiting Angels are the people who provide care, support families and help our clients continue living independently at home.
From our carers and care managers to the teams working behind the scenes, everyone contributes to the culture that makes Visiting Angels what it is today.

What does it mean for our carers?
Working in home care is about much more than completing a list of tasks.
Our carers build relationships with the people they support. They become familiar faces, trusted companions and an important part of someone’s day.
For that to happen, carers also need to feel valued, supported and listened to themselves.
We believe that creating a positive workplace for our carers helps us provide better care for our clients.
That means investing in our people, providing training and development opportunities, recognising their contribution and creating a working environment where they can feel proud of the work they do.
A global recognition with local meaning
Here at Visiting Angels North Hertfordshire, we are particularly proud to be part of this achievement.
Our team supports families across Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth, Baldock, Biggleswade, Buntingford and the surrounding areas.
Every day, our local Angels make a difference to people in their own homes. Whether that means providing companionship, helping with personal care, supporting someone living with dementia or giving a family carer some much-needed respite, the work our team does matters.
