Premium Home Care Near You
Welcome to Visiting Angels North Derbyshire. As local residents of the area, we are delighted to offer a premium home care service to the people in our locality and beyond.
We provide a range of care, from companionship, personal care, complex care, learning and physical disabilities, light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication assistance. Our aim is to support people to continue to stay in the comfort of their own home.
We focus on including caregivers from your local area, so they easily become part of your community. This helps our caregivers understand your specific neighbourhood, and it also allows us to offer our services well, even in faraway places.
An essential part of our service is to give you a choice of caregiver matched to your own specific care needs, hobbies, pastimes and interests. We introduce you to our matched Caregiver before home care starts, so that you can get to know them and decide if they are the right fit for you. It is important that long-term relationships are built so that you trust the Angels that you invite into your homes and enjoy being in their company.

Meet the Team
Tahira & James Needham- Managing Directors

James and Tahira are dedicated to creating a family-oriented, ethical business with a strong commitment to valuing people by valuing their time. James, with his background in the driving school industry and passion for coaching, and Tahira, with over a decade of experience in health and social care, recognized a gap in the sector’s focus on holistic care. This led them to establish a service that addresses not only physical needs but also emotional and mental wellbeing, especially for individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. Their unique approach includes complimentary wellbeing sessions for clients, such as chair-based exercises and hand massages. With a combined 20 years of experience, they aim to provide high-quality, compassionate care that promotes overall wellbeing, leaving a lasting positive impact on their clients’ lives.
Shanaye Latouche -Registered Manager

Shanaye has dedicated the last decade to the health and social care industry, driven by a deep passion for helping individuals live independently with dignity. Her journey began as a care and support worker and then, progressed to management roles within start up care businesses. With a focus on their well-being, Shanaye has continuously worked to ensure that people receive the best care possible. Having completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and currently undertaking a Level 7 NVQ qualification, her ability to provide not only empathetic care but also strategic leadership in ensuring the highest standards of service delivery has been enhanced. With a strong support network to lean on, Shanaye has a unique understanding of the importance of a well-developed caring circle. Shanaye is eager to be a key part of the team working alongside James and Tahira to provide a holistic and family-oriented approach to care and wellbeing.
“Thank for literally being “visiting angels” to dad. Without you his life would not have that magic touch you brought to him. You will be treasured for your work.”
“I want to thank you for sending me such a wonderful Angel to help me during my recuperation. I always felt safe and comfortable when she was here.”
