{"id":6161,"date":"2026-08-14T11:13:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T11:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visiting-angels.co.uk\/manchestersouth\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=6161"},"modified":"2026-08-14T11:13:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T11:13:15","slug":"care-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/www.visiting-angels.co.uk\/manchestersouth\/jobs\/care-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"Care Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are looking for an experienced and organised <strong>Care Coordinator<\/strong> to join our friendly and growing home care team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This is an important role within our office team, ensuring our clients receive reliable, high-quality care and that our Caregivers are effectively supported and coordinated.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Planning and managing Caregiver rotas<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all client care visits are fully covered<\/li>\n<li>Matching Caregivers to clients based on their needs, skills and availability<\/li>\n<li>Managing sickness, absence, late calls and missed calls<\/li>\n<li>Keeping client and Caregiver information accurate and up to date<\/li>\n<li>Communicating changes to Caregivers, clients and the management team<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the day-to-day running of the care service<\/li>\n<li>Responding quickly and professionally to unexpected changes or emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Previous experience working as a Care Coordinator or in a similar care role<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience using Birdie care management software<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience organising and managing staff rotas<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge and understanding of the home care sector<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Confident working under pressure and solving problems<\/li>\n<li>Reliable, professional and able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>A positive, can-do attitude<\/li>\n<li>QCF\/NVQ Level 3 in Health &amp; Social Care is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pay &amp; Benefits<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>\u00a327,000 per year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In addition to your basic salary, you will receive <strong>additional payments for on-call duties and any extra care calls you complete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This is a great opportunity for an experienced Care Coordinator who enjoys being part of a supportive team and wants to play an important role in delivering high-quality care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apply today \u2013 we&#8217;d love to hear from you.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for an experienced and organised Care Coordinator to join our friendly and growing home care team.
