Whether it\u2019s spotting mould, identifying a trip hazard, or realising a client needs more mobility support, our carers can signpost families to trusted local organisations such as the\u00a0<strong>Lincolnshire Good Home Alliance<\/strong>. This ensures that small problems are addressed early, before they become serious risks to health or independence.<\/p><h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"22\" data-lineheight=\"33px\"><strong>Building a Stronger Network of Support<\/strong><\/h3><p>Community care works best when it is not done in isolation. By collaborating with local organisations, we are able to extend the benefits we provide to our clients. For example:<\/p><ul><li>We partner with\u00a0<strong>AKG Employment<\/strong>, joining their community caf\u00e9s and supporting people with skills and opportunities to find jobs.<\/li><\/ul><p>Recently,\u00a0<strong>Visiting Angels Lincolnshire and Connect to Support Lincolnshire<\/strong>\u00a0both participated in a community caf\u00e9 in\u00a0<strong>Sleaford<\/strong>, organised by AKG Employment. At this event,\u00a0<strong>Rachel Jackson and Sarah Dearnley, Public Health Officers at Adult Care and Community Wellbeing, Public Health, Lincolnshire County Council<\/strong>, provided valuable information about Connect to Support Lincolnshire. This was shared with staff, people living in the community, and professional networks. We are very glad to have developed this relationship, which strengthens the flow of vital information across the county.<br \/><br \/><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2683 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/stg-visitingangels-oldwebsite.kinsta.cloud\/lincs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/97\/2025\/09\/Connect-to-Support-Lincolnshire-Visiting-Angels-Hena-Zainab-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"613\" height=\"460\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2683\" \/><\/p><p id=\"caption-attachment-2683\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><br \/>Sarah Dearnley (Lincolnshire County Council), Hena Zainab (Visiting Angels Lincolnshire) and Rachel Jackson (Lincolnshire County Council)<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">We also work with local pharmacies, such as <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">MediLink in Bourne<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, who offer free delivery of prescriptions (both NHS and private) and free blister packs to help clients manage their medication safely and easily.<br \/><br \/><\/span>Without these partnerships, many of these services would remain out of reach for the people who need them most. By working together, we ensure that every individual receives the care and community support they deserve.<\/p><h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"22\" data-lineheight=\"33px\"><strong>Why These Connections Matter<\/strong><\/h3><p>For elderly people in Lincolnshire, home care is not just about help with daily tasks.
