Angel Talk
A relaxed and welcoming check-in session where carers can introduce themselves and share recent experiences, challenges, or positive moments from their caring journey. Angel Talk provides a safe and non-judgmental space where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. It offers an opportunity for carers to exchange practical tips, advice, and encouragement, often finding comfort and reassurance from others who truly relate to their experiences. The session also includes time for tea, coffee, and informal conversation, helping to build friendships, strengthen peer support, and reduce feelings of isolation.
Angel Talk takes place every last Thursday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Why you should join
Reduces Isolation
Caring can often feel lonely and overwhelming. Meeting others who understand the journey helps carers feel less alone and more connected.
Emotional Support and Stress Relief
Having a safe space to talk openly about challenges and feelings can reduce stress, ease emotional pressure, and improve overall mental wellbeing.
Builds Confidence and Resilience
Sharing experiences, advice, and coping strategies empowers carers with practical tools and reassurance, helping them feel more confident and better supported in their role.
“Thank you for your invaluable service and for making it very simple. I know that Mum was truly happy to have someone there to help her with all her needs.”
Monica, Daughter of client

“Our sincerest thanks for providing our loved one, Ruth, with some of the kindest people to ever enter our home. Mum’s caregiver not only provided Ruth with daily care but nourished her mind, body and soul with loving words and even song.”
Laurence, Son of client

The values we live by
Visiting Angels has been providing exceptional home care across the world for 20 years. We put our carers at the heart of what we do to make sure they can deliver a truly person-centred service to your family.
Nimble
Reacting swiftly to the specific needs of our clients and their families is part of our DNA. Every person will have individual needs and their circumstances are always unique. We always listen, consider and react quickly, tailoring their home care to suit.
Family
We know that asking someone to give so much of themselves to caring is a big ask. We support our team when they are working and reward them for the joy that they deliver. We laugh together, share stories and listen. Our carers are more than a team, they are more significant, they are much more like family.
Freedom
Quality care should enable freedom. The time to share stories, the support to live as you wish and the help that comes from an unrushed caring professional. Age should not limit life and the right care should adapt to the needs of the client. We want our clients to feel empowered to live.
Relationships
Relationships take time, friendships don’t happen quickly, care shouldn’t be rushed or irregular. We offer a choice of caregiver to the families who we work with. By rewarding the loyalty of our carers and paying them well we hope to ensure that caregiver and client can form a lasting relationship.
