These occasions shouldn&#8217;t stop just because someone needs extra support. The venue is elegant and accessible, with multiple dining spaces to suit different needs.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4><strong>The Coffee Lounge<\/strong><\/h4><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Located at 28 Lidget Street, this independent coffee shop serves speciality arabica coffee sourced from Brazil, El Salvador and India, alongside wholesome plates and sweet treats. They&#8217;re passionate about supporting local producers and preparing fresh dishes using Huddersfield ingredients.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>\u2728 What we love:<\/strong> The Coffee Lounge is the perfect antidote to loneliness. It&#8217;s warm, welcoming, and the staff know their regulars by name. A weekly coffee and cake outing might seem simple, but for someone who spends a lot of time alone, it&#8217;s a lifeline. The caf\u00e9 is dog-friendly too, which many of our clients appreciate.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4><strong>Eric&#8217;s Restaurant<\/strong><\/h4><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This award-winning fine dining restaurant at 73-75 Lidget Street is run by an accomplished chef-proprietor. The seasonal menus use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and the restaurant is decorated with artwork by Yorkshire artists. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner service, with a bar area perfect for pre-meal drinks.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4><strong>St Stephen&#8217;s Church &amp; Lindley Methodist Church<\/strong><\/h4><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>St Stephen&#8217;s is a Grade II listed Church of England parish church on Lidget Street, built in 1829 and designed by renowned local architect John Oates. It serves the areas of Lindley, Oakes, Salendine Nook and Marsh. The shop sells quality pre-loved clothing, books, accessories and homeware, with all proceeds supporting hospice care in Kirklees.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>\u2728 What we love:<\/strong> The Kirkwood shops represent how Lindley looks after its own. Many of our clients have connections to The Kirkwood \u2013 perhaps they&#8217;ve volunteered there, donated regularly, or known someone who received their care.
