Eric’s Restaurant

This award-winning fine dining restaurant at 73-75 Lidget Street is run by an accomplished chef-proprietor. The seasonal menus use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and the restaurant is decorated with artwork by Yorkshire artists. It’s become known as one of Huddersfield’s finest dining experiences.

St Stephen’s Church & Lindley Methodist Church

St Stephen’s is a Grade II listed Church of England parish church on Lidget Street, built in 1829 and designed by renowned local architect John Oates. It serves the areas of Lindley, Oakes, Salendine Nook and Marsh. Lindley Methodist Church on East Street has been serving the community since 1867, with its distinctive Edgar Wood-designed chancel and transept added in 1895.

Located at 90 Acre Street, this hospice charity shop is part of The Kirkwood’s network that raises over £2 million annually to support local families affected by life-limiting illnesses. The shop sells quality pre-loved clothing, books, accessories and homeware, with all proceeds supporting hospice care in Kirklees.

Many of our clients have connections to The Kirkwood – perhaps they’ve volunteered there, donated regularly, or known someone who received their care. Graze @ Brosters Farm Shop

Just outside Lindley on Lindley Moor Road, Brosters is a family-run farm shop and butchers with a kitchen and grill called Graze. They offer locally sourced Yorkshire meats, fresh vegetables, homemade bread, pies and pastries baked daily, plus a café serving breakfast, lunch and cakes – all with stunning views over Calderdale.
