Quality Home Care in London and Essex
Choosing the right support for yourself or a loved one is crucial but challenging. Our dedicated team provides tailored, high-quality home care services with a personal touch. We work closely with clients, families, and health professionals to promote independence, dignity, and compassion. Our Angels are carefully matched with clients based on shared interests and values to ensure a meaningful companionship.
What is Companionship?
Providing emotional support, company, and social connection to people who may be elderly, disabled, or isolated is the goal of companionship care. Enhancing the recipient’s quality of life and overall wellbeing is the main objective of companionship.

Our Services
Our Angels offer in-home support for one hour or more, at a time and day that works best for you. This allows enough time for tasks to be completed without rushing, and for the client to receive personalized support at their own pace. Our Angels build a professional relationship and companionship with the client, reducing social isolation and providing a friendly face for support where needed.

Areas We Serve
We offer quality care at home in Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford, Chigwell, West Essex, Waltham Abbey, Loughton and Epping. Additionally, we serve surrounding towns and villages. Our commitment is to ensure that our angels are local to your area, enabling them to be familiar with your community.
This has two key advantages: Firstly, by connecting you with local caregivers, they will possess a solid understanding of your neighbourhood.
Secondly, we can effectively cover the semi-rural regions of Essex.
When it comes to selecting a caregiver, we prioritize both your care needs and your personal interests. This means that you will have the opportunity to choose from a range of caregivers who are not only qualified to meet your specific requirements but also share common interests with you.
Thank you to the Visiting Angels Team. My daughter has complex needs and has specific care needs, it was a struggle finding someone that would help. It was great to be able to meet the carer before the care started. This gave Penny ease of mind knowing the carer before she started. Can not thank your team enough for the support they have provided for Penny and I.
Having care is not something we would do traditionally, however, the care manager was able to help me see the benefit and its something I do not regret. Mum is getting the care she needs and it helps ease stress and load from my sisters and I. Thank you to your team for the support and patience. It’s been greatly appreciated. Adenike x
When my dad first needed care, it was a struggle trying to find the right agency and juggle work. It was not a smooth ride, but since Visiting Angels has taken over, its been a smooth ride. I can not thank them enough or sing their praises. Definitely one of the best decisions I made for Dad
The Carers that take care of mum have been nothing short of amazing. We can really see the difference in mums health and her care. Thank you to the ladies and to Visiting Angels

Meet The Team
Shahid Iqbal- Managing Director

From a young age, I have always been driven by a deep sense of compassion and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. In recent times it became increasingly clear to me that there was a pressing need for high-quality, personalised care services in our community. It was this realization that sparked my motivation to partner with Visiting Angels and open a domiciliary care company.
I firmly believe that every individual deserves to live with dignity and respect, regardless of their age or health condition. One of the main reasons I chose to open a domiciliary care company is my strong belief in the power of home-based care. Having cared for my father in the later stages of his illustrious life, I understand the importance of familiar surroundings and the comfort that comes from being in one’s own home. By offering personalised care services in the comfort of our clients’ homes, we can promote independence, preserve dignity, and foster a sense of security and belonging.
I aim to cultivate a team of dedicated and compassionate caregivers who share this belief. We will work collaboratively with our clients, their families, and the wider healthcare community to ensure that every individual receives the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
Bella Hallam – Area Manager

Bella’s journey in the healthcare industry began when she left college at the age of 18. With her nursing background, she quickly found her niche in community care, providing support and assistance to those in need. Her passion for helping others led her to explore other areas of healthcare, and she later went on to work in surgical wards and the theatre department at the Queen’s Medical Centre.
Throughout her career, Bella has worked in all of our covered areas, serving as a Carer, Field Care Supervisor, and Care Coordinator for other care companies. Her diverse experience and expertise have made her a valuable asset to the healthcare community, and she has become a trusted and respected member of the team wherever she goes.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Bella is also known for her warm and caring personality, and she is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others. Whether she is working one-on-one with patients or overseeing a team of caregivers, she always approaches her work with compassion, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Barbara Ukaegbu – Registered Manager

My journey in care started in 2016 when a family member fell ill. I got a lot of personal satisfaction from this role, so much so that soon I started work as a Carer.
Over the years, my passion for care grew because I felt I really was making a positive change. I progressed to the role of Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, Care Manager and then a Business Support role. Alongside that, I gained a BSc in Forensic Psychology and MSc in Social Work. With my educational and work background and the amazing team that is Visiting Angels I feel we will be able to effectively provide your loved ones the quality of care and service they deserve. Nothing beats that feeling of accomplishment knowing that I am doing something to make a positive difference to someone’s life.
Here at Visiting Angels, we are ‘Carer-Centric’. We care about the wellbeing of our caregivers, and ensure they are not underpaid and are over-appreciated! I have made it my mission to ensure all our clients get the best of the best carers, and we will also strive to make the carers feel appreciated! Once our Angels visit, you will not want them to leave.
Here at the Essex Southwest office, we have an open-door policy to all. Feel free to visit and have a cup of tea no matter the day or weather.
