Meet the Team

Ashad Khan – Managing Director

As the Managing Director of Visiting Angels Essex South, I have found the perfect opportunity to pursue my passion for the healthcare sector. With a desire to provide high-quality care to those in need, I am committed to building a business from scratch that aligns with my ethos and values. Having experienced first hand the challenges of caring for older parents, I am dedicated to offering exceptional care to my clients in the comfort of their own homes. With a Bachelor’s degree and two Masters in Business Management from various universities in the United Kingdom, I bring a wealth of experience in running businesses and managing teams across different sectors, including retail, sales, and renewable energy. Above all, I am committed to creating a carer-centric organization that prioritizes person-centric care.

Farjana Sultana – Director

Since childhood, I have been intimately connected with my grandparents and witnessed first hand the challenges they faced in their later years. As my grandmother’s personal caregiver, I was by her side until her last breath. This experience ignited a deep desire within me to make a difference in the healthcare sector for the elderly, as we will all inevitably face this stage of life.

My professional background has primarily been in retail and later as a housing officer in sheltered accommodation. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University. Currently, I am a full-time mother of two, but I am eager to start my own business and re-enter the workforce.

When I discovered Visiting Angels, a company that provides care services to the elderly within the community and is carer-centric, I knew I had found the perfect opportunity.

I firmly believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their age, race, or gender. Visiting Angels shares this belief and treats both clients and carers equally. I am passionate about the ethical culture of this business and am excited to be a part of it

Carrie Wright – Registered Manager

My Name is Carrie, I’m 42 years old, I have three dogs a beautiful wife and have been working in Health and Social Care for 20 years.

I started my career in finance but soon knew I wasn’t going to be able to stay in finance due to the repartition working with numbers can bring. I knew I wanted change but wasn’t sure what that would be. At 21 I applied for a job working for the home office with young offenders, this was my first taste of working with people, this was the job that gave me the experiences I was looking for, I have always felt very strongly that people should be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness and from personal experience I felt no one should be alone in a time of need. This was the start of the next 20 years.

Through hard work, study, and lots of unforgettable experiences, some good, some bad I am now lucky enough to be given the opportunity to be the person who can make the difference with good understanding, sensitive decision making and kindness. I am so grateful my journey has led me to Visiting Angels

“I want to thank you for sending me such a wonderful Angel to help me during my recuperation. I always felt safe and comfortable when she was here.”

Dorothy K

“Thank for literally being “visiting angels” to dad. Without you his life would not have that magic touch you brought to him. You will be treasured for your work.”
