My brother and I have been really impressed with the service offered. The carers have been reliable and we have peace of mind knowing our parents are being cared for.

Surj guided our family through the pre-assessment process as though she was holding our hand. She immediately put my Dad at ease and really listened to him. She also provided much needed practical advice and support throughout the process. We’re looking forward to the carer starting this week.

S King

It’s very good, excellent. My carer is nice to talk to and will do anything that needs doing. Nice to have someone checking on me, makes me feel safe.

C Cooke

Very good, polite, helpful, respectful. I don’t know what I would do without them. I certainly wouldn’t be able to manage my eye drops, medication and food and drink. Our last provider stopped trading suddenly and Visiting Angels stepped in with very short notice to ensure I wasn’t left without care. The manager comes out to do calls so that she can get to know us and the care we need.

Over the years it has been difficult to find a genuinely good care company, but i believe I have found that here.
With many previous companies i have been through a lot, having to deal with being treated badly by staff and management alike, and i would feel intimidated by people who are supposed to be caregivers.
Here though, i feel already, after a few weeks, that this is a good care company, with a manager who is a kind, friendly person – someone I respect, who looks after her staff as well as she does her clients.
My 2 carers have been polite, patient, understanding, hard-working, respectful, and sincerely caring.
It is evident that they enjoy their jobs & in fact want to be in my home, looking after & getting to know, me whilst helping me to live the best way that i can.
After years of struggling with depression and severe social anxiety etc, I have found a safe place finally with this company & i’m actually flourishing.
I would recommend Visiting Angels, Warwickshire.

Surj visited my father in law to complete a pre assessment to assess his needs. She put our family at ease, gently exploring with dad what he wanted from a carer, offering him the time to allow him to share his perspective alongside despite limits due to his dementia, and offering emotional warmth to my mother in law. Professional and her approach set the tone to build a true partnership with our family.

L Parsons

An excellent and very personal service at all times. Always available to talk to if there are any queries or concerns. Nothing is too much trouble and my Mum benefits from the friendship extended to her from her lovely carers. She enjoys her trips out and every effort is made to take her somewhere which she will enjoy based on her interests. Big thank you for all you have done to date for my Mum.

B Lavercombe

Management really good responded really quickly to my son’s care request and arranged care and assessed his needs well, carers are always friendly and on time.

Lisa

We asked Visiting Angels to provide personal care and support for my father at a difficult time. All the staff were helpful and very professional. We knew dad was being properly and effectively cared for and this was a great help and reassurance for the family. We don’t hesitate to recommend Visiting Angels and will use them again.

All the people I have met have been very pleasant and Mum seems so much better in herself, is eating better and is happier. We appreciate being kept informed of any changes in Mum or the environment. It has given us peace of mind knowing that Mum is in safe hands and has regular caregivers. In an emergency there is always cover even at short notice. The angels are going to start taking Mum to her appointments as well which is a great help!

S Stone

I found them to be a great help with my parents. Very regular visits and regular caregivers have improved their quality of life and allowed me to relax a little! Safe in the knowledge that they are in good hands

Steven

The service has helped me to regain my independence and not only do I have great caregivers but they make great companions as well. It is great to be able to go where I want with the support of my caregivers and it’s comforting to know that someone is there if I need them. The service has made an amazing difference to my life!

Meet the Team

Surjit Virk , Managing Director

I have spent the majority of my adult working life in health and social care, travelling the UK providing support and guidance to a number of home care businesses. My career to date has seen me working in many management roles including recruitment, training, compliance, quality assurance, regional management and registered manager. I have seen some very good care provision and some not so good inspiring me to provide a high-quality service to my local community in Warwickshire which is where I have lived and brought up my family for the last 20 years.

I have seen the high turnover of care staff and the impact this has on the people receiving care, constantly being cared for by different people, not knowing who is going to turn up and how much they will know about the support that needs to be provided and unable to build any meaningful relationship with the caregivers. I want to provide a consistent, caring and safe service to the individuals we are supporting and this is why I joined Visiting Angels, to be carer centric!

I want to empower my caregivers to value themselves and the work they do and to be recognised for the difference they make to peoples lives by dealing with issues like poor pay, lack of training and support and feeling under-valued. Recognising the worth of our Angels is paramount and one of our most important values here at Visiting Angels.

I look forward to working with and caring for the people of Solihull and Warwickshire.

Kindness can transform someone’s dark moments with a blaze of light. You’ll never know how much your caring matters.

Make a difference for another day.
